Our modern life revolves around computer work and smartphone use, so handwork – an activity very close to human nature in its roots - can easily be forgotten. The memories of it, inherited from generations before us, still exist deep in our subconsciousness.
Hand embroidery is a meditative technique; it’s calming and reconnects the person with the feeling of working with their hands. Unlock hidden way to inner alignment by practicing ancient craft.
Through learning the basic hand embroidery techniques you will be able to relеаse all your thoughts, let your brain completely relax and allow your intuition to contribute to every string you take. Come and have a nice and inspiring afternoon. Embrace your creativity.
We will provide you with all the necessary materials and a variety of embroidery designs for you to choose.
This workshop will be taught in English and is designed for all skill levels - from embroidery beginners to seasoned stitchers. No previous knowledge or skills are necessary! Everybody's welcome.
All materials provided: embroidery hoops, fabrics, needles, transferring paper, embroidery stitches, embroidery designs.
Stefanija Pejchinovska is a graduated architect who finds ultimate pleasure in hand embroidery as a meditative and satisfying craft. Stefanija is self taught and has practiced hand embroidery for more than two decades. Her practice consists of teaching workshops, embroidery art explorations, conscious collaborations with local designers and ethical brands. Her latest work evolves towards the well-being of people in a workspace where they can connect and communicate through a common task.
