"The Weird Pantheon" represents the artist Masha Msky's exploration of subconscious images and symbols shaped by personal experiences and surrounding events. Embracing her unique, "weird" artistic vision, Masha delves into the strange and fantastical, creating a collection of quintessential characters that continues to grow with each new insight, experience, or trauma.
This pantheon of odd and surreal figures invites viewers to engage with their own interpretations, sparking reflection or even laughter. Some may recognize elements of themselves, while others encounter embodiments of the artist’s introspective journey. Masha welcomes you to explore and interact with this ever-evolving collection, where the bizarre becomes beautifully thought-provoking.
**Masha Msky (aka tootooweird)** – Mixed Media Artist
Born into a Russian-Jewish-Greek family in Moscow, Masha Msky’s artistic journey has been shaped by her diverse cultural background and life experiences, spanning seven years in Jerusalem and now residing in Berlin since 2022. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Otto Dix, Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, Max Ernst, Leon Bakst, and Aubrey Beardsley, Masha has cultivated her own distinctive visual language, blending surrealism, symbolism, fauvism, and graphic techniques.
Under the pseudonym *tootooweird*, Masha’s work stands out for its spontaneity and depth. Each piece is created in a matter of minutes, without sketches or prior planning, resulting in raw and immediate expressions of thought. Her art is rich in visual metaphors, inviting viewers into a dialogue with abstract concepts that provoke personal reflection and subconscious associations.
Primarily working with mixed media, Masha combines pencil drawing, vector design, and various printing methods to create her unique compositions. Currently undergoing an inner artistic transformation, Masha is exploring new styles and media, pushing the boundaries of her creative practice to uncover another dimension of her artistic identity.
Her works invite not only the eye but the mind to wander and interpret, creating a deeply engaging and immersive experience for all who encounter her 'too too weird' art.Masha Msky is open to collaborations
