Introducing Annabelle Eugenia, the genius behind the vibrant and abstract creations that blend instinct, raw colors, and a playful approach to materials. She's all about bringing you beauty, joy, and good vibes through her artwork. 🎨

Guided by her knack for ergonomics and balance, she weaves abstract expressions that let viewers dive into a world of their own. It's like a visual daydream where each canvas tells a different story, depending on who's looking.

Her artistic roots run deep, shaped by her background as an Industrial Designer and fueled by icons like Rothko, Pollock, Seurat, and Hockney.

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Hands down, it's all about trusting your gut, you know. TO FEEL AND NOT TO THINK! Like, feeling more rather than overthinking stuff! If your belly feels all tight, it’s probably not the best move, but if you're feeling chill, go for it.

It's like this secret weapon for navigating through life – just tune into that intuition vibe. Helps you dodge tricky situations and steer clear of the wrong crowd. It's like your gut's got this built-in GPS for avoiding drama and finding your way.

‍What's the last book you've read?

I'm not sure if it's the best, but the last book I read was "The Man with Miraculous Hands" by Joseph Kessel.

What are the 3 things you cannot live without?

My Tibetan bowl.
Creating a nice lighting atmosphere in my rooms.

Where do you want to travel to and why?

I've got my eyes set on Scandinavia. I'm really eager to experience the various natural light atmospheres and catch a glimpse of those mind-blowing Northern Lights. It's all about soaking in the unique beauty of the North! ✨

Just a day where I've got some quality me-time. Picture this – all peaceful vibes, me feeling happy, just chilling on my own. Alternatively, being surrounded by good company, laughing, and enjoying the precious time together. Those are dream days!

What would be your "keyword" for Berlin?

If I had to pick a "keyword" for Berlin, I'd go with "The city of the unexpected."

It's just full of surprises!

What makes you happy?

For me, it's all about feeling relaxed and being on a positive evolution path. That sense of ease and personal growth.

What brought you to Denizen?

Well, I'm an independent alternative tour guide in Berlin, and for the past 10 years, I've been showing the Eisfabrik on my tours. So, I've been closely following Eiswerk's entire renovation and building process. It's been quite a journey!

What do you like about Denizen?

I absolutely love the cozy atmosphere Denizen managed to create in those spacious concrete rooms. Plus, the staff is super welcoming and friendly, which adds to the vibe. 😍

Annabelle has been living in Berlin since 2011, where she runs her company, Berlinade Tours. She specializes in alternative guided tours off the beaten tourist track, conducted in French, English, and German. Currently, her passion lies in the history of Berlin, with a particular focus on East Germany.
