You learn how to make a hanging-scroll to display your calligraphy work.

When: Friday, 27th June 18:30-20:00

Where: Denizen Eiswerk

About the event

This workshop is perfect for people who want to learn how to make a hanging-scroll for calligraphy work.

A hanging-scroll is a traditional way of displaying a calligraphy and a painting work. You can make it with some fabric and wooden bars.

Participants can make a small hanging scroll for their work so that they can display it at home or give it as a present to their friend!

What participants should bring is a calligraphy work which is already mounted. The size should be up to 25cm x 35cm, prefarably.

(The mounting workshop will be held on Thursday, 26/6/2025 from 18:30-20:00, at the same place. If you want to attend it to mount your work, please register for it separately.)
