About the event

Our photo exhibition offers deep insights into the work of SOS MEDITERRANEE. Through moving images, we display not only the rescues themselves but also the people behind the statistics—capturing moments of relief and despair, care and cooperation, as well as joy and the hope for a life in peace and security. The exhibition invites you to take a closer look and to understand civil search and rescue at sea for what it truly is: an expression of solidarity and humanity.

SOS MEDITERRANEE is a European humanitarian organization dedicated to search and rescue operations in the central Mediterranean. Since the beginning of the rescue missions in 2016, 43.540 people have been rescued. Learn more: https://www.sosmediterranee.de/

Exhibition opening times: 19.11. – 03.12., Mon – Fri 8 AM-8 PM
