Come and join us for an after-work folk edition of 'Pop-Up Sessions'.

When: Friday, 13th February, 18:00 - 21:30
Where: Denizen Eiswerk

About the event

There is a spirit and a grit in folk music that invites us to lean in and to listen with care. To blend out the noise and tune in with the voice and strings.

Come and join us for an Afterwork Folk edition of 'Pop-Up Sessions'. In collaboration with 310sessions, we start into the weekend, with the three exceptional songwriters, including Reliable Ghost, Sameen Qasim and Sorin. Come and relax with some storytelling, captivating music in the comfy atmosphere of Denizen.

'Pop-Up Sessions' is a series of intimate concerts, curated and promoted by 310sessions, that blend community, collaboration and deep love for the connection built through live music. In partnership with local spaces across Berlin, 310sessions aims to foster community-driven spaces that introduce the music landscape of Berlin and beyond, transforming them into alternative stages for emerging artists.

Each session is more than just a concert, as through music we connect and share experiences.

Denizen members will be able to purchase discounted tickets (10€) at the door.

The artists

Reliable Ghost
Reliable Ghost is an Italian singer-songwriter. She lives in Berlin and sings in English, but her songs touch the soul of her listeners beyond any language.

Her music still bears traces of the finest songwriting of the 70s and it constantly strives toward the heights of poetry. Her moving voice is an invitation to the encounter with the self.

Sameen Qasim
Sameen Qasim is a Pakistani folk-soul artist based in Berlin, making music that feels like a conversation: honest, vulnerable, and rooted in feeling. Her writing moves in the space between wit and ache, sometimes let out softly, other times delivered like a storm.

After a series of singles and collaborations, she recently released her debut album ‘Goodbye, Good Riddance’, written between homes, endings, and quiet rebuildings.

Sorin
Before releasing his 2024 debut album, Sorin opened for internationally acclaimed artists including Charlie Cunningham, Khruangbin, Maps & Atlases, and Kat Frankie.

Blending indie folk with alternative and Americana textures, his songs circle unresolved emotions and a steady longing for harmony. His album while the tides turn earned airplay on FluxFM, Fritz, Radio Eins, and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and his music has been featured in international TV.

Sorin’s second EP is currently in mixing and mastering, with new singles scheduled from April 2026 and live dates from January 2026.
