How does Denizen Spaces work?

Think of Denizen Spaces like an Airbnb for workspaces. We have built a marketplace of unique spaces in real offices throughout central Berlin (and soon also Dusseldorf). We provide you with a fully-managed hospitality service, including event planning, breakfast, and lunch catering, as well as organised team events and activities. You can make flexible bookings as of one day.

What type of events can you host?

Given our diverse range of spaces, each varying in size and layout, we are exceptionally well-equipped to accommodate a multitude of events. Our primary area of expertise, however, lies in hosting professional corporate functions such as meetings, workshops, and gatherings.

In what Berlin neighborhoods are your spaces located?

We have spaces all over the city but with a focus on Mitte, Kreuzberg, and Friedrichshain.

Do you offer catering?

Certainly, we're in partnership with a catering company known for its versatile food offerings and seasonal dishes. They cover everything from buffet-style arrangements to convenient grab-and-go choices and even formal sit-down dinners. If you have specific preferences, we can create a custom proposal that suits your needs. Learn more about our catering offer here.

Can I rent additional equipment through you?

All meeting rooms are equipped with at least a flip chart or a whiteboard. Some locations have more advanced audio-visual equipment. We will provide you with this information when you make your booking. If needed, we can also provide additional equipment for you, subject to an extra charge.

Can I book for half a day or less?

Typically, we exclusively provide daily rates for our spaces. For yoga workshops in the Denizen Studio, we also offer an hourly rate of €35 (excl. VAT). Please get in touch with us to learn more about our long-term partnerships with yogis and other self-care collaborators.

Can I visit the venue before booking to see the space in person?

Yes. Just contact us and we can arrange an appointment to see the space together.

What is the payment schedule and method?

Our payment schedule requires payment in advance, with a deadline of 7 days prior to the event. The preferred payment method is bank transfer, but in case this is not possible, you can also pay with a payment link that we will be sending to you.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy allows free cancellations up to a week before the event. After that, a 50% fee of the space rental amount is charged. Cancellations a day before the event are non-refundable.
